Swat, once that used to be a serene valley. Where all that flows now are streams of fresh blood, that of the natives who are literally slaughtered by the dozens day in & day out. The Very escorts who once vowed to be saviours of the land & people have calmly resorted by abondoning and consequently rendering the unfortunate as orphans in their own home(land).
If the Army, is incompotent to counter such a low-scale internal insurgency then how is it even vaguely possible for us to expect them to defend our borders against the far more sophisticated foreign armies of gigantic magnitude?
I wonder…
Is The honourable President & PM of this godforsaken country… deaf,dumb or blind? Perhaps they are just under the influence of the very nortoirously common syndrome found amongst our rulers known as, “Look-I-am-So-Cool-That-I-Just-Dont-Give-A-Fuck-About-my-Motherland”. I mean how could the head of state be so cool with what is happening to his land & people.

Does Swat not fall into your jurisdiction or defination of “motherland“; Mister Preident?
If one comes to think of it, It took merely a few weeks for the Taliban to grip the whole of swat & adjacent localilities in their clutches of terror, in total absence of any strong opposition & retaliation from the Peace bearers & Law inforcing agencies of the country. In such an ideal situation for the militants how much time would it take them to sway their uber wrath on the whole of country? 3 months, could be 6? Godfrobid, if so it happens.. we would be sprung back to the midival times in a jiffy.
We dont want our schools to be turned into piles of rubble. We dont want the rights of our women & children to be quashed down. We are not slaves & hence cannot be ordered by any authority as to what we should do & who to oblige by. We dont want to abondon our fancy HighDefination LCD Tv’s. We dont want our highspeed DSL Internet connections to be suspended for life & most certainly we dont want to grow beards on gunpoint. Obviosuly none of you “people”, neither would i ever want any of that being ACTUALLY happening to us. NOW DO WE?
But we dont seem to shed a tear or even care a wee bit as to what happens to the peace-loving masses of the North. Arent they classified as “US”? Ah, well who cares.. i have bigger issues of my own to deal with, “meri bijlee janay wali hai paanch minute may, aur mera ipod bhi charged nahi hai” ( the electricity is about to go out in about five minutes & my ipod aint charged). Sad isnt it? =(
